Soap Creative March 2001 – June 2011 (contract)
Sr. Web Engineer I developed sites using my Simple Thing Framework (PHP), Templar Templating Engine, jQuery and CSS2/3

Environment: LAMP (Linux, Apache 2.2, MySQL 5.1+, PHP 5.2+), WAMP, XHTML 5, CSS 2/3 and JavaScript/AJAX/jQuery.


The Famous Group Jan. 2011 – Feb. 2011 (contract)
Sr. Web Engineer maintaining and enhancing the Justin Bieber: Never Say Never website. I created the jQuery based quotes system, the PHP/GD and jQuery based E-Cards system, enhanced the video backend to more easily add new video clips to the site, optimized the website adding a dynamic assets system which contactinates multiple files into one and then minifies them greatly reducing the number of file requests and size of those files enhancing the user experience via quick page loads. This system can also compress those files via GZip or Deflate but does not as the Akamai load balancing and caching network handles that automatically. I also managed the clean URLs .htaccess setup with custom regular expressions.

Environment: LAMP (Linux, Apache 2.2, MySQL 5.1, PHP 5.2.4), XHTML, CSS 2 and JavaScript/AJAX/jQuery.


Ayzenberg Group May 2010 – Nov. 2010
Sr. Web Engineer creating client websites mostly using WordPress, HTML 5, CSS 3 and jQuery creating custom WP and jQuery plugins. Many optimizations including the use of CSS sprites, CSS & JavaScript minimization, compression, caching, and reasonable HTML and CSS rendering when JavaScript and/or Flash are not enabled in the browser.

Environment: LAMP (Linux, Apache 2.2, MySQL 5.1, PHP 5.2), WordPress, Drupal and Joomla CMS, RegEx, DOMDocument processing, JavaScript/AJAX/jQuery, custom jQuery plugins I created, HTML 5 and CSS 3. Mobile development using jQTouch, JavaScript GPS Location and Google GeoLocation API. ActionScript 3.0, Adobe CS5 Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.


Cie Games Feb. 2010 – April 2010
Senior Developer utilizing Flex 3 to build interactive elements such as a custom drawing widget with image import and scaling, umlimited undo and upload. Also other widgets for the game Car Town on Facebook. Also consulted for PHP development options in a primarily .NET workshop.


Sabertooth 2009 (contract)
Tech Lead working mostly on a custom 3D interactive kiosk and mentoring the Flash team. Also extensive use of JavaScript (AJAX and jQuery), HTML, CSS, PHP, Photoshop and Illustrator.


Woo Agency, Inc. 2009 (contract)
Tech Lead mostly dealing with Flash animation, interactive UI and custom video compositing. Also extensive use of JavaScript (AJAX and jQuery), HTML, CSS, PHP, Photoshop and Illustrator.


TheEternalSpace.com, LLC 2008
Initially hired as the Tech Lead for the Eternal Space project at JN Media architecting the site and doing initial documentation for development. I soon moved to Tech Manager hiring the server admin and the client-side and server-side dev teams and participating in daily SCRUM meetings as the technical component. Then moved to the Server-Side Tech Lead position doing API prototyping, server administration and acting as liaison between server-side and client-side developers.

Environment: PHP 5, Flash Remoting via WebORB for PHP, RegEx, Flex 3 Builder, Flex 3 Modules, MXML, ActionScript 3.0, RHEL 4 (RedHat Enterprise Linux) server administration, Trac administration, Subversion administration.


LiveUniverse 2007 – 2008
Sr. ActionScript Programmer working mostly with custom video players and the companies ad tracking system. Helped integration with PHP developers and created custom Flash integration solution in PHP at this time.

ActionScript Programmer creating class based framework modules in ActionScript 2.0 interfacing with a Director shell. Also handled specialty projects doing PHP and Flash/PHP development as well as enhancing the process introducing the Ant build system.

Kremsa Design 2006
Sr. Flash Developer creating class based Flash content via ActionScript 2.0. Also handling HTML/XHTML, JavaScript and some PHP for integrating Flash sites with the companies custom Rockstar CMS.

EVOK Interactive 2005
Lead Developer creating class based Flash framework for rapid web application and site development. Also responsible for implementing company development process and initiating code documentation and version control systems in a Mac and PC environment.

PHP and Flash Developer creating class based web applications and web sites using OOP techniques. I also advocated code documentation techniques.

I took over the previous partnership of Wonder Digital starting my own web design and web hosting company doing web design and development, UNIX server administration, account management, server-side scripting, billing, etc.
